(Anti-Inflammatory + Gut-Loving)
If your hormones feel out of balance — whether it’s fatigue, bloating, stubborn weight, or brain fog — your gut might be crying out for help. At Functional Medicine Los Angeles, we believe that true healing starts with nourishing your body from the inside out. And when it comes to healing from the inside out, nothing beats the comfort of a warm, nourishing bowl of soup.
Today, we’re sharing a simple recipe that works wonders: Hormone-Healing Turmeric Chicken Soup. It’s packed with ingredients that calm inflammation, support liver detox, boost digestion, and help balance your body’s natural rhythm.
Why This Soup Helps Balance Hormones
Your hormones don’t function on their own — they rely heavily on your gut, liver, and immune system. Here’s how this soup supports all three:
- Bone broth: Rich in collagen, which repairs the gut lining and reduces inflammation
- Chicken: A clean source of protein to stabilize blood sugar and support cortisol balance
- Turmeric, garlic & ginger: Natural anti-inflammatories that support hormone function and liver detox
- Coconut milk: Full of healthy fats to promote hormone production and satiety
- Leafy greens & carrots: Nutrient-dense veggies that support estrogen detoxification
This nourishing approach aligns with what we practice in functional medicine Studio City — creating balance through targeted nutrition and personalized lifestyle interventions.
