- 4 medium celery stalks, finely diced
- 4-5 fresh garlic cloves, minced
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 2 1/2 c. tomato juice, preferably low-sodium
- 3 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 t. hot sauce (optional)
- 2 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 c. fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 medium lemon, juiced
- Sea salt and black pepper. to taste
For serving: Fresh hot cooked pasta, prepared according to package directions
Directions:
- Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat.

- Pour in tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.

- Remove from heat and stir in basil, parsley, and fresh lemon juice.
