This hot, cheesy tortellini casserole is comfort food at its best. From start to finish, it will be on your table in less than an hour! Ingredients
- 12 oz. refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped (reserve a small amount for finishing)
- 1/2 c. fresh basil, chopped (reserve a small amount for finishing)
- 2 c. marinara sauce, jarred or homemade
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded parmesan cheese
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large casserole, mix together the tortellini, onion, parsley, basil, marinara, water, and olive oil. Our functional medicine Los Angeles professionals recommend you season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, give the casserole a good mix, and cover with shredded mozzarella and parmesan.

- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil and parsley.
